Penetrater Weights are especially designed to penetrate cover more effectively than other non coated weights. Tungsten being denser allows you to use a smaller weight compared to the same size lead weight. It also offers better sound attracting qualities than lead weights.

Penetrater is the ultimate weight system. Penetrater weights are designed perfectly for penetrating the heaviest cover with ease. I think that’s one of the most important things is just how easily these weights penetrate vegetation. The other factor is the tungsten used. Having the right material and the right size is a big asset. The fish can’t really hang onto the weight and there is no penetration with the fish’s teeth. It slides very easily through the mouth, which allows the angler increased, efficient and cleaner hook-ups. Penetraters are just indestructible weights and last forever. I still have one of the original one-ounce Penetraters that I got from Timmy Horton in my tackle box and I guarantee you I’ve caught over 400 fish on that one weight.
