Solar Bat® Noctular® Generation 2 and
Noctular® Series sunglasses have a full
warranty on manufacturer's defects for 90
days from the date of purchase. Beyond
that 90 day period, Solar Bat® will replace
any broken frame part for shipping and handling,
and any damaged lens will be replaced at half
price, for LIFE. Customers must deal directly
with Solar Bat® for all warranty replacements
and broken or damaged parts must
be returned to Solar Bat®.

Solar Bat Sunglasses Solar Bat® was founded in 1994 by optometrist and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Gary Nesty. Dr. Nesty realized the need for a lighter weight, safer, and more comfortable line of polarized sunglasses. Naturally, as an optometrist, perfect optics and safety were the top concerns. The Noctular® high performance lens system was developed with this in mind. The result is the toughest, lightest, polarized sunglass lens with razor sharp optics to eliminate eye strain, maximize your outdoor performance, and block out all harmful UV wavelengths. In 1998, Dr. Nesty introduced the Ecolar series of sunglasses, because everyone who plays outdoors needs protection from glare, UV rays, and eyestrain, but not everyone has room in their budget for true high performance sunglasses. Ecolar sunglasses do out perform all other sunglasses in their price category. If the Noctular® performance series is not in your budget, then the Ecolar series sunglasses is your next best option. Select from the fine line of Solar Bat Sunglasses. Noctular® lenses were first introduced in 1994. The base material is polycarbonate. A layer of polarizing film is laminated between two layers of polycarbonate and then thermoformed into an optical quality lens. A double thickness scratch resistant coating is then applied to both the front and the back surfaces. The result is the lightest weight, most impact resistant, optical quality lens in the sunglass market. Noctular® series lenses have maximum polarization and filter all UVA and UVB wavelengths.  Noctular® Generation 2 Series features all the impact and scratch resistance of the Noctular® Series in a scientifically MOLDED lens with razor sharp optics. The Noctular® Generation 2 lens is manufactured just like a prescription lens and features de-centered optics to eliminate all eyestrain. Solar Bat's® Noctular® Generation 2 Series has again raised the standard for performance polarized lenses.  Ecolar Series of sunglasses with even better, safer lenses and rugged frame designs. All Ecolar lenses are now 1.1 mm thick for safety and better optics. Also easy on the budget.  |
